Kailash Kher
Variety Playhouse

Kailash Kher has the
kind of voice that touches souls and evokes undiscovered adrenalin. He started
studying Indian classical music at age 12 but later moved on to Sufi, a style
of folk music. In 2002, Kailash moved to the world of Bollywood, and his song
"Allah ke Bande," from the relatively obscure movie "Waisa Bhi Hota Hai Part II,"
made him a household name. Since then he has become a huge star in India, with
his music featured in more then 50 Bollywood productions.
